Ibutamoren NovaScience, also commonly known by its study name MK-677, is a secretagogic growth hormone. More specifically it belongs to the class of growth hormone releasing peptides.

In human studies, Ibutamoren has been shown to increase fat-free muscle mass and energy expenditure, improve sleep quality, and reduce diet-induced catabolism. This drug is most commonly used in the fitness community to gain muscle mass and reduce fat, as well as an appetite stimulant.

It should be aware that unless the diet is controlled, the use of this medication can coincide with a significant increase in daily caloric intake. But when dieting is controlled, its growth hormone stimulating properties can support fat loss.
